Peak Season at Vilacqua Guest Villa

season-012What a fantastic peak season!

We had a full house and embraced the festive period with enthusiasm and a full complement of staff.

Our guests where just wonderful, traveling from all parts of the world and visiting beautiful South Africa with stop-overs in Plettenberg Bay. They came from Belgium, Germany, France, UK, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Australia and different parts of South Africa, adding their varying cultures and languages to make one happy family.

Chef and Loretta prepared appetizing breakfasts which changed daily and catered for vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian and gluten free diet requirements.

A special breakfast was prepared by Loretta on New Years Day morning consisting of the following:

  • Fresh peppered smoked trout
  • Creamy scrambled eggs with slow roasted tomatoes with balsamic glaze
  • Assortment of cheeses, hams and salami
  • Muesli and berry breakfast parfait
  • Blueberry & banana French Toast
  • Fresh fruit platter

Loretta presented the ladies with Christmas gifts while Christmas carols played softly in the background.

Loretta makes nightly turn-down a special event; displaying different chocolates each night with a specially designed flower arrangement on the pillow. Fresh water is always left, the lights are dimmed, rooms are cleaned and fresh towels ready to welcome our guests returning from their evening dining experiences.
