We are able to advise on the best health, beauty and hair salons and upon request, and a visiting masseuse can be arranged to offer a professional massage.

This invaluable insider advise is also available when it comes to the best activities and offerings in the area – from top restaurants, to incredible natural adventures. And if a picnic is the order of the day, Vilacqua’s staff can help to arrange a sumptuous basket.

And onto the magnificent Plett beaches. Please feel welcome to ask for beach bags, umbrella’s and beach chairs available for hire at a nominal cost. For the more adventurous we can supply bikes to travel round locally.

For the golf enthusiasts, we have plenty of opportunity for you to arrange a round or two. We have two excellent clubs, Plettenberg Bay Country Club, and Goose Valley Golf Club. Pre-booking may be required and you shall receive preferential rates whilst residing at Vilacqua.

By road, the Garden Route commences with its western gateway in Heidelberg, and meanders along 300 kilometers of N2 coastal highway through the towns of Riversdale, Albertina, Gouritsond, Great Brak River, Mossel Bay, George, Wilderness, Sedgefield, Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, Natures Valley and Storms River.

For the culinary adventurer, Plettenberg Bay has some of the finest restaurants in the whole of South Africa, offering fresh seafood including our famous oysters, fine dining and vegan fare as well as traditional South African cuisine and braais (barbeques).
